A few tips to creating a psychosocially safe workplace
Australian Work Health and Safety laws require any person conducting business to eliminate or minimise the risks that arise from psychosocial hazards at work. Including things like poor work environments, job demands or poor support.
In the workplace, an average of over 7000 people each year will seek compensation for work-related mental health conditions.
Beyond the legalities and the statistics, we know that protecting our team members, colleagues, employees and each other from the impacts of poor mental health in and as a result of the workplace, has to remain (or become) a priority for businesses that want to succeed.
This month we look at a few ways your business can create a mentally safe environment.

OUR "DYNAMIC DUO" HIT THE ROAD
No, not Batman and Robin but Woody & Westy!
Would you like to show your people the impact of a physical injury and a Mental Health injury all in the one session?
Our “Dynamic Duo”, James 'Woody' Wood and Michael Weston (Westy) will both be in WA in June 2023.
In the past, Michael and James have each shared their respective journeys with injury, so they thought it would be a great opportunity to combine their stories and show the real impact that getting hurt either physically or mentally can have on your life or that of your team.
If you would like more information on James or Michael (or both), visiting your workplace give us a call on 03 7930 2900 or email on info@cnbsafe.com.au
